NEWS FEED: Pacman wraps up camp, heads to Las Vegas - 6 JUNE 2012

LOS ANGELES, California -- Manny Pacquiao trained hard on his last day for his final run workout in Los Angeles.

Pacquiao chose the hills of Griffith Park, still pushing himself while enjoying the cool air before hitting the desert heat in Las Vegas.

Apl.de.ap of the group Black Eyed Peas joined Pacquiao, attempting to follow the rigorous ab routine of the eight-division champion.

Apl was very impressed with Pacquiao’s physical condition, which, he said, inspired him to get in shape.

“Manny is amazing, he is an inspiration, he's the best,” he said.

Pacquiao’s wife, Jinkee, has also been inspired to get up early and go for a morning workout. She and her sisters trekked up Griffith and dabbled in some boxing moves too

“Pwede rin pala ako mag-boxing,” she said, laughing. “Kailangan ko rin kasi mag exercise.”

The couple appeared very sweet. With a Bible in her hand, Jinkee gave a hug of support for Pacquiao who has been working hard the last seven weeks to train for his fight with Timothy Bradley.

“Ganado talaga ako kasi malapit sa akin ang pamilya ko hindi sila malayo,” Pacquiao said.

The Pinoy champion believes he is ready for the fight, as he plans to add on a few more pounds the next few days.

“Around 142, 143 lang ako kaya kailangan kain ng kain, busog na busog na nga ako eh,” he said.

In the afternoon, the Wild Card Gym parking lot filled up early as vehicles joining the convoy of Pacquiao got ready.

Aside from his family and training team, a big group of supporters is joining Pacquiao to Las Vegas including the Philippine National Police (PNP) Christian group from Manila. They will be riding the trademark Manny Pacquiao bus.

For Pacquiao, the more the merrier.

The Pacman was still in high-intensity mode in his final sparring session, going four hard rounds with Kevin Hoskins. His timing was good, throwing strong left-right combinations at lightning speed.

Pacquiao couldn't be stopped as he wanted to do extend his training with some rounds of mitts while displaying the speed and power he is known for.

“I believe Pacquiao will stop him probably in the middle rounds…ya, maybe 5, 6,” his coach Freddie Roach said.

Roach is extremely pleased with the way this camp has gone, calling it one of the best they've had.

Contrary to what some think, Roach said Pacquiao's dedication in studying the Bible has made him a better boxer.

“He is fresher, not tired when he comes to the gym contrary to what people think,” said Roach. “Maybe God was a boxer.”

Amir Khan, who trained with Pacquiao in Baguio, also believes in a stoppage by Pacquiao.

“Yes, I think Manny is too good. I believe he will stop Bradley,” he said.

The entire Team Pacquiao is in high spirits as they head for Las Vegas, united and believing the Pinoy will reign once again.
