Bradley says Pacman's sparring mates are 'useless'

MANILA, Philippines – Timothy Bradley has upped the ante against Manny Pacquiao's team as he criticized Freddie Roach for comparing him and former world champion Ricky Hatton.

"I hear Freddie Roach is comparing me to Ricky Hatton and I'm like 'dude, you guys are retarded if you think I fight like Ricky Hatton,'” Bradley said on Boxing Scene.

Bradley said Roach seemed clueless about his fighting style, which he claimed is not like Hatton's.
The undefeated American boxer stressed that although he is game to brawl, he is no slugger like Hatton.

“Honestly, but no offense, what you guys looking at?” he said.

Bradley added that Pacquiao has no use with his Russian sparring partners, because they could not mimic his game in the ring.

“They bring in this Russian guy [Ruslan Provodnikov] who comes forward and is a banger, and I'm like 'wow, these guys really don't know what I can do,'” he said. “It's funny, they think I'm just this face-first brawler and I'm like 'you guys are going to be in for a rude awakening.'”

Bradley said Pacquiao and his team has yet to do their homework with regards to his fighting style, which he claimed is a bit of everything.

“I can fight, I can box and I can brawl," he said.

Roach was earlier quoted as saying that Pacquiao is likely to knock out Bradley just like what the Filipino did to Hatton.

“He fights just like Hatton with a stronger chin,” said Roach.
