September 4, 2012. At the Alcantara Hacienda, Katerina Alcantara/Montenegro (Julia Montes) saw Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) right outside their house. Katerina then informed her mother, Luisa Alcantara/Reyes (Sharmaine Buencamino) that she saw Nathan outside. After awhile, Nathan went inside their house, begging for Katerina's forgiveness and acceptance. Nathan even asked Katerina to love him again the way Katerina did when they were still together. Katerina, on the other hand, disagreed to what Nathan wanted because she already made a decision to end their relationship. Meanwhile, inside prison, Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) badly wants to escape so that he could protect Katerina from Nathan.Daniel asked Teban's (Dante Rivero) help in escaping even though Teban opposed to Daniel's plan. Meanwhile, Miguel Ramos (Nonie Buencamino) was being obsequious to an inmate, Boss (Archie Adamos), who is the leader of all the inmates. Miguel wanted to get Boss' trust so that it would be easy for him to kill Daniel. Boss, on the other hand, was not yet convinced to Miguel's goodness and obedience because he don't want to give his trust just like that.
