The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has launched an investigation to determine if there is any truth to the claim of murder convict Rolito Go that he was abducted by NBI agents last Tuesday inside the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City. Go's claim of abduction has yet to be proven, Zamora said. Retired Army general Gaudencio Pangilinan, director of the Bureau of Corrections, which oversees the NBP, was earlier quoted as saying that he doubted Go's abduction story. Noting that President Benigno Aquino III is “displeased” over the developments in apprehending high-profile fugitives, Malacañang on Thursday announced both higher and new bounties for these people.
