TV host-actor Derek Ramsay finally admitted the end of his six-year relationship with Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban.

On his Twitter account earlier, May 14, the newly moved Kapatid talent posted this: “Guys we truly appreciate all ur concerns. Even though angel and I are no longer together we still have the utmost respect for one another.”

He stated in his succeeding tweets that in their relationship, “[T]here was no wasted time. I loved every minute we had together."

Before the separation, Derek stated in media interviews that he and Angelica were having a relationship problem.

Angelica, on the other hand, remained mum about it.

NO THIRD PARTY.  Derek stood by his previous statement that there was no third party involved in their breakup.

It can be remembered that one of the rumored reasons that caused the breakup was Angelica’s alleged involvement with fellow Star Magic star John Lloyd Cruz, whom she’s doing a movie with.

Derek, however, did not believe this rumor. In fact, he even defended his ex-girlfriend when this came out.

His previous tweet about this, read: “Be strong @IamAngelicaP. We all know who you are and that there’s no truth to what’s being said. I’m here for you if ever you need anything.”

Last May 4, Derek also cleared that John Lloyd did not cause his relationship problem with Angelica.

“Guys pls don’t believe any of the rumors about angel and john Lloyd. They did scenes for a movie and that’s it. That’s the truth. Tnx.”

Meanwhile, after posting his admission to the breakup today, some Twitter users have posted comments addressed to him that another party was involved in it and it was Kapuso actress Sam Pinto. 

Derek and Sam Pinto once worked together for the Octoberfest commercial of San Miguel.

But Derek said, “Walang may kasalanan dito.”
